VUSACOM India to establish chapters in Tier-II cities by late 2012

In a bid to increase Indian traffic to the USA from Tier-II cities, the Visit-USA Committee (VUSACOM) India, the Indian chapter of VUSACOM, will set up chapters in Tier-II cities besides regional chapters across India. This was disclosed by Manoj Gursahani, Vice President, VUSACOM – India on the sidelines of the formal inauguration of the India Chapter by John Bryson, Secretary of Commerce, Government of USA in Mumbai recently. “We will be setting up chapters in mini-metros like Jaipur, Nagpur, Surat, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, etc. as there is a lot of growth and a spurt in SMEs in Tier-II cities,” stated Gursahani. Established with the main purpose of increasing Indian arrivals to the USA, VUSACOM – India is headed by Ashwini Kakkar, Executive Vice-Chairman, Mercury Travels.
